Sephiria spans 6 chapters, each with unique environments, enemy types, and a chapter boss. This guide walks you through every chapter, its boss mechanics, and how to beat them.
Chapter 1: Bunnyville Outskirts
Boss: Corrupted Farmer
The first boss. He's slow but hits hard. Three phases:
- Phase 1 (100-66% HP): Slow overhead slam. Dash through him and hit from behind.
- Phase 2 (66-33% HP): Adds a charge attack. He telegraphs with a stomp. Sidestep, don't dash — dashing into him gets you hit.
- Phase 3 (33-0% HP): Throws hay bales in arcs. Stay mid-range and punish recovery.
Recommended: Sword & Shield, any artifacts. This is a tutorial boss — just learn to dash.
Chapter 2: Misty Forest
Boss: Warden of the Mist
A fast, aggressive boss with poison attacks. The mist environment reduces visibility slightly.
- Phase 1: Quick slash combos (3-4 hits). Block or dash away after the 2nd hit.
- Phase 2: Spawns poison clouds. Stay mobile, don't stand in the green zones.
- Phase 3: Summons 2 wolf adds. Kill adds first, then focus boss.
Recommended: Crossbow for ranged safety, or Katana for dash attacks. Bring poison resistance artifacts.
Chapter 3: Ancient Ruins
Boss: Stone Guardian
A massive golem with heavy armor. Only takes damage from the glowing cracks on its body.
- Phase 1: Slow ground punches. Dodge roll to avoid shockwaves.
- Phase 2: Throws rock shards in spreads. Weave between them.
- Phase 3: Enrages — cracks spread, taking more damage but attacking faster. Burst him down.
Recommended: Greatsword for Armor Pierce, or Staff to target cracks with precise casts. See All Bosses Guide for full weakness table.
Chapter 4: Cursed Cathedral
Boss: The Inquisitor
A dual-phase boss that switches between physical and magic combat styles.
- Phase 1 (Physical): Rapier thrusts and sweeps. Parry with Shield or dash-dodge with Katana.
- Phase 2 (Magic): Teleports and casts homing projectiles. Use pillars as cover. The projectiles can be destroyed.
- Phase 3: Mixes both styles. Most challenging boss up to this point.
Recommended: Sword & Shield for parry, Staff to destroy projectiles. Extra potions recommended.
Chapter 5: Demon Gate
Boss: Gatekeeper Demon
A fast, aggressive demon with gap-closing attacks. The arena has lava pits on the edges.
- Phase 1: Leap attacks and claw combos. Stay center-stage to avoid lava.
- Phase 2: Summons fire walls that sweep across the arena. Jump or dash through gaps.
- Phase 3: Enrages — all attacks gain fire trails. Lifesteal or potions essential.
Recommended: Staff for Ice slow, or Katana with Blood Draw for sustain. Fire resistance artifacts.
Chapter 6: The Tower
Boss: The Demon King
The final boss. Four phases, each with completely different mechanics. This is a true test of everything you've learned.
- Phase 1: Large AoE slams and projectile waves. Stay mid-range, punish recovery frames.
- Phase 2: Splits into 3 copies. Only one is real — the real one has slightly different color. Hit the fake ones and they explode.
- Phase 3: Full-screen bullet hell. Memorize safe zones. Use potions between waves.
- Phase 4: Final stand — one massive target, all previous attacks at once. This is a DPS check — use everything you have.
Recommended: Your best weapon fully upgraded. Bring extra potions. See our Hard Mode artifact guide for endgame build recommendations.
